I was told by the dealer that the shop manuals were no longer available. The parts person said that the shop manuals are now on the internet and that a person need a special code to access them and the codes are only available to the technicians. I am in the process of buying a new 3500 and I was wondering if I can pursuade the dealer to make the shop manuals available to me on the net?

 

Thats not gonna happen. You have to be an employee to get access. There is a company that sells the manuals, and I think their # is 800-890-4038. If thats not it, call me tomorrow. I have it in my rolodex at work. But be prepared, a full set of truck manuals is about $350.00.
