Does anyone know what is different about the blocks for Hemi vs. 360/318 Magnum? Would the Hemi heads bolt up to the 360/318 blocks? If anyone could point me to a site that has more info please let me know. (I am getting ready to rebuild my 360 and am looking at all possibilities, and buying Hemi heads for nothing is just too expensive).

 

No interchangable parts.

 

Edelbrock has just released a set of aluminium heads for the Magnum. If they are anything like the the ones for the old LA 318/360, they will be a nice step up.

 

HEMI is short for hemispherical pistons and combustion chamber. No interchangeable parts with any other engine. (Except maybe the radiator hose clamps)
