I agree with the cat back. I am looking for the right sound without too much highway BUZZ. My 99 V6 Dakota Regcab had a Flowmaster. I am not sure which one. I believe it was a Series 40? I got a lot of highway low freq resonance in the cab, kinda like the sub was doing some major work. I am looking for that street growl, idle burble, and a nice stainless tip. I am tired of polishing chrome...I am going stainless. I still like those Gibson Rectangular side exit tips. Although I may go with a dual split straight out the back

Remember the old cherry bomb glass packs? Those would be perfect for it!

I just got the Mopar catalog from my dealer today. The only listing for the performance exhaust is PN4510468 04' Hemi Ram 1500 QC SB 2wd. Dont they make one for a 4x4, and what is so different about the 2wd to 4wd? What kind of price should I be looking at for this. I will do the install...

Just put exhaust on mine, went with turbo-pro, has a real nice rumble to it, but not as loud as I would have liked. But then again the cops don't turn there heads when I drive by.

What is the difference from the Cat back ona 4x4? Pretty much other than a transfer case there is no difference. The transfer case does not even get in the way of the muffler system? The MOPAR one exits in the same location as the stock, it just has a stainless st. tip.

I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.9 L 360 and I put magnaflow mufflers on and it sounds sweet. I think the Flowmasters are way to load and dont make a nice rumble like the magnflows. The magnaflow mufflers make a deep throaty sound. I would suggest the magnaflow mufflers also because they have a straight through flow and a lifetime warranty.
