The roof paint had all peeled off and it rusted through the primer I had to take it down to bare metal. I had pint of color matched paint so I shot it with rattle can primer and resprayed with a cheap hvlp gun in my driveway. Only a few small bugs landed in the wet paint [:@]

I didnt have enough paint to do the hood so I taped it off trying to emulate the challenger. Everywhere you see black on the hood the old paint was peeling and cracked that is how I got the lines also. This is just rattle can flat black.

I think it looks good. Blends the tints to the black cap as well. Good job.

Looks pretty good considering its a spray can. What is your color called? I've never seen it on a Ram.

 

The flat black on the hood is the spray can.
The roof I shot with my hvlp spray gun.
It an old forest service truck from Oregon state.
I'm not sure of the color name Safety green maybe?
