Painting interior and under hood

what kind of paint should i use for under my hood on like, accents parts like some of the guys on here have,,, and my interoir parts like under the cup holder, that plastic piece?????
and do i need to sand it down first or what, and do i need to put clear coat on it????

For interior pieces,SEM offers vinyl paint. The key is the prep work. Clean surface thorougly and for best results use the SEM plastic prep. It makes the paint bond quite well. As to underhood, Use a paint formulated for plastic. Duplicolor makes some, I think. If it's just to freshen up the black pieces, I've used an engine detailer "paint" like many used car dealers use. It's basically like an Armor All on steriods. Almost like paint. Clean everything well and spray that on and it will look great for a while.
