Default Hoses - when to change?

98 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 - 70,000

The hoses still look fine from the outside - no cracks etc. But are there any general rules on when to change these?

These OEM hoses are going on 7 years old, but the mileage is kind of low and again they look good from what I can tell.

Thanks,

Change 'em. Belts and hoses should be changed at least every two years. IMHO

It's cheap enough that I like to change belts and hoses as part of a full tune up. I plan on doing the ones on my '97 this weekend if I get the gear swap done in time to do the tune up.
