Hello,Thought i had a simple tail light out on the drivers side.I bought a new bulb #3157 and replaced it and it did not solve my problem.I have brake light but no tail light.Any idea on what the problem could be now.I'm thinking the problem is in the socket because if it were the ground i would have not have a brake light correct ?? Thanks in advance

 

Try cleaning the contacts before replacing the socket.
