hey does anybody know why the hemi trucks declerate so fast, even down hill????

does it have a jake brake of some kind????

ummm, no jake brake, those are only for diesel engines...

yeah i know jake brakes are for diesels, but that hemi has some kind of something on it

when you let out of the throttle the intake butterfly's close causeing a restriction on the intake causeing the pistons to have to suck the air in. with the torque converter locked up it actualy gives you quite a bit of deceleration HP.
