so after 2 months i dicided to take out the stock stereo and speakers and switch them with some quality sound

JVC KD-AR3000 deck
4 new door speakers, pretty good sound, LOUD! and clear
i put it some subwoofers in the rear for some clean bass
i also added XM radio

sounds really good, anybody else replaced the stock sound system?

 

i put in infinity perfect series speakers all over including 4 tweeters (since i like my music more bright then normal) i have the jl stealthbox under my back seat for the two 10's as well as a stealth box up front for an added 12' powered by 3 seperate amps and a new cd deck with sub-out. i've been looking into a custom center console as well to stick in another 12' but its not going to be cheap so im saving up money and once i have enough i'll either end up putting that in or working on my performance mods. i love my truck, you can hear me coming a few blocks away when i want it really loud, of course i normally don't turn it up as loud as it can go but about 2/3rds of the way which is plenty loud

 

i'm not gonna touch ours..this new fangled OEM stuff boggles my mind..

but i did design/build/install the system in my mm's camaro (see sig). I also have a 12" 600 watt sub in my room.
