Default What do 16" wheels fit on?

I bought a set of MB 72 series wheels with Nitto Tires(LT305x70 r16) from a guy that had themon a 2001 1500. I thought they would fit my 2008 1500 4x4 with tow pkg., but they barely rub on the front calipers. To close for my comfort so I am selling them on craigslist. The problem is that people keep asking if they will fit on their truck and I have no idea!!!

They are a beautiful set with 90%+ tread. Wish I could keep them!!

Does anyone know when the 1500 started using the bigger bake/caliper setup? Does it have anything to do with mine being a 4x4, or having the tow pkg.?

Though I think this is a cheesy attempt to advertise your wheels without putting them in the classified section, the answer to your question is 2002. That's when 17's became the smallest size you could put on a 1500. They will fit on any 94-01 1500. Bolt patterns are the same.

LOL!!! No cheese here my friend! I am only trying to sell these locally so it would make no sense. I have been trying to find this info for weeks so your reply is greatly appreciated! I am sure that somewhere down the line someone else will find this to be valuable info. I certainly could have saved myself the hassle of selling these if I would have found this out sooner!

Thanks again!
