Does anyone know where I can get a 2" leveling kit for my 2004 quad cab 4X4. I can only find them for 2wd and 2500 & 3500

The 04 has torsion bars on the front end not springs so there is nothing that a levelling kit can do, the only thing is an entire suspension lift, price I found for the lift was 2500 plus about 12 hours of labor to install.
I am finding out that the 1500 is not as off-road ready as the 2500.

The 1500 has torsion bars. I'm sure the 2500 & 3500 have coil springs cause they're still solid front axles. If you've got a 1500, just crank up the preload on the torsion bars. You can get 1-1.5" out of just that and it doesn't cost a thing. Rides a little stiffer though. If you have a 2500 or 3500, check with the guys at www.jeeperzcreeperz.com they can usually get good prices on leveling kits and are really good guys.

You can find the suspension lift at Fab tech, it is a 6 inch lift kit, bit more than I am interested in
As far as cranking up the torsion bars, be careful on the extra wear that may occur when using front differential, the angles of the components out of whack and cause wear, not sure but this should be investigated before cranking them up, the adjustment of the torsion is usually used to compensate for the torsion bars sagging over time as the spring steel looses some of its spring.

I went to fabtechmotorsports.com and i didnt find any lifts for an '04. I am not sure if it is the right website or not. Does anyone know if the '04 4WD 1500 with the off road package sits level. I am not sure but i think it does. I was just wandering If I could use the same set up thats on that truck on mine.

I have an 04 Quad cab Off Road. It does not sit level. I raised the front end 3/4 of an inch and you can tell the difference when you see it next to a stock truck, but it's still not level. I didn't notice any difference in the ride but if you go too far you will bottom out the suspension-on the top side when going over railroad tracks and the like, so I guess it's "topping out the suspension.

email the contact person at fabtech and they will tell you what they have, they replied to my email and said all they had was a 6 inch lift.

i put a set of rear shackels from a 04 durango on my 04 quad cab and got a 1" drop in the rear. i believe that the shackels are the same from 02 and up on the durango and bolt onto the ram with no mods.
