My tailights wont work and my parking lights wont work, however, my headlights, brake lights, and reverse lights do. I checked the fuses, theyre ok????? Any ideas. Oh, I have a 02' Ram, 1500, new body style.

 

did you check the bulbs?

 

Yeah, the bulbs look good too.

 

Check/replace your headlight switch. I had (still kinda do - long story) a problem with my dash and running lights going out. I may have a short or another problem that overheats and melts part of the switch. But this was in a '92 model. Yours is probably wired a bit differently.

 

I too have a new body style (DR Platform) 02 Ram 1500 with non working taillights. I was on my way home in the pouring rain on Thursday, and had some people flash their lights at me from behind. When I got off at my exit, a guy pulled up next to me and informed me I had no taillights but my brake lights and taillights were working too. It doesn't surprise me with this particular truck though as I've had many quality problems with it. I have about 1 year left on my lease and can't wait to get rid of this lemon. My Ram was built in February 02 in Mexico, what about yours?

 

Actually it tunred out to be the Power Distribution Block (Fuse Block) under the hood. There was a bad connection from the circuit borad to the relay. You cant get it apart without breaking it so I had to buy a new one.
