Default Fogging Up

Hello,

I have a 02 1500 4X4. Bought it used in May. My problem is when I stop in traffic for more than a minute the interior gets steamed up and the windows fog up. As soon as I start moving the windows clear up. I have tried every switch position on the heat controls. I have better luck just leaving the defrost/heat system off.

Also the A/C stops putting out cold air shortly after the windows fog up.

Any suggestions?

I hate to say it but that sounds like a leaking heater core. The only thing that throws me off is that it clears up when you start moving. MS

My '99 does that sometimes when it's raining, I have no clue why! [sm=smiley5.gif]
