2001 Ram Transmission Shi
<SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; COLOR: black; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana">Just changed the fluid and filter on my 2001 Ram 4x4 (360 ci), and also tightened the bands as recommended by the manual. The problem is, ever since, my truck seems to bounce around between 1st and 2nd gear when accelerating moderately. Also seems to lose its place when downshifting sometimes. The transmission worked like a champ before this servicing, and I'm dying to get it back to where it was. I can't imagine it's anything major since it was perfect prior to changing the fluid, just maybe something out of whack?? Oh yeah, just changed the TPS sensor with no improvement. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com

Thanks for the reply, but I did use the +4 fluid from Dodge, and you are right, that stuff is outrageously expensive. The latest "diagnosis" I've heard is that it may be the governor pressure solenoid in the valve body of the transmission. Does this sound plausible to anyone else. As always, any input is greatly appreciated.
