sounds like the death flash. Wasn't the death flash intended to reduce pinging under load? I haven't heard anybody recover from this one without switching to the mopar performance ecu and 91 octane gas.
But if they did a hydrocarbon test on your coolant and you're getting exhaust in it then there's either a crack somewhere or a head gasket going bad.

I would buy a Hypertech performance tuner, it will rid of all the problems, and you can always tune it back to stock to take it to the dealer.....
