Default stupid maine rules

ive been trying to get my truck inspected for the last week or so. The two places ive gone to said that my exhaust is too loud. One of them recomended some flowmaster mufflers that are louder than mine. The other said my exhaust was too loud and that my tires are too wide. I bought the truck with those tires. Im sick of the gay rules in Maine. I was just wondering what kind of rules there are in some other states

No "rules" or inspections in Cali besides strict smog stuff for registration purposes.

Plug the Resonator back on and get it inspected, then yank it back off. But, you'll still be subject to exhaust noise enforcement in maine.

95 dbs is the "max",

Looking at that law, it doesn't look like even if you register out of state and inspect out of state - they could still give you a ticket for noise. Got a couple towns in New York that are the same way.
