I know there was a TSB out by Dodge on the 318 5.7s because of an intake problem where the gasket would suck air variably because the intake wasn't tightened down properly.</P>


Since having that performed.. mileage has tanked and low-end acceleration is dismal. Dealer says nothing wrong although they did a firmware update and it still is bad (although that annoying 'spark-knock' is gone for the moment).</P>


11 people here at work have the same "knock" and have cured it with the TSB intake adjustment and they too have the fuel economy and performance pains..</P>
