Default New Ram Owner has questio

Hey Everybody! I just bought a 95 Ram about 2 weeks ago. It is in great shape and I love it alot! My First question is a dumb one but it didn't come with a manual and I need to know what type of oil to use in it. I think I'm going to use Fully Synthetic to make it last as long as possible... Sound good? Also, I would like to do some exhaust work and make it sound throaty without losing much back presure, any ideas? I was thinking Flowmaster 40's would be good, but any other ideas would be helpful!

If you have any other bits of advice or know of any future problems I might address that seem to be typical of dodges please let me know!

Thanks

Yeah, Fully syntheticMobile One 5w 30, you cant go wrong there. It's worth the extra money. You can go flowmaster but your dodge would have a sound like all other v-8's out there. I can tell flowmasters before they even get up on me. They sound good but everybody'sgot them. I would go edelbrockor even Flowtech's "Warlock."I personally have a Borla exhaust system and it sounds insane with the 03 Hemi in front of it.

My personal choice for synthetic is AMSOIL. I have been using it for years in both my regular vehicles and track cars.

I have to agree with the Flowmasters!! I have the 40 series dual exhaust on mine!! Another one you may want to check on would be Magnaflow!!

Hey congrats on the newRam !! What gears does it have? Maybe best to change all the fluids, synth front to rear willhelp in mileage n power to the pavementfrom less driveline loss

How much do u want to spend here?

I luv Magnaflow

Here's what Edelbrock TES headers/Magnaflows 3"h/f cat& 3" glass pack with 3" piping exiting in front of the rear wheel sounds like (5.9) during a burnout .Ive had flowmaster n Edelbrock catbacks n wasnt impressed (no offense).

Any sound files of the Hemiw/Borla? Love to hear it
