04 4x4 1500 QC Torsion Keys
If I level my truck with new torsion keys on my 4x4 1500 QC, do I need to change my shocks? If so, where do I get longer shocks? How do I know what size? How much do they cost? And does any of this do anything to my factory warranty?

Yes, you do need to change your front shocks. I believe, you need to go with 2001 Dodge Ram 4x4 shocks for the Off Road Package. These shocks will provided the added length. Cost? Best guess would be $35 to $65 each, depending on brand. This assuming you would be using the Truxxx Keys. http://www.truxxx.com/dodge_products...m_lift_kit.htm
Also, make sure to have the front end aligned once installation is complete.
As far as warranty being voided, the warranty on the torsion bars would most likely be voided. In otherwords, if a torsion bar snapped within the standard warranty period, once the kit was installed (not very likely), DC would most likely not cover it. Also, the new shocks would not be warranted, nor any alignment issues.

RE: 04 4x4 1500 QC Torsion Keys
Can anyone give factual problems with replacing the torsion keys? Several people I've spoken with advise against it, yet never really say why. I don't want my new 4x4 looking like a 2wd, but I don't have $4000 for a lift and new tires/wheels yet. Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated. Keith
