Default Adjusting Bands, no torque wrench, possible?

Hi everyone, just bought my first dodge truck yesterday. im in the process of a tune up, im changing the tranny fluid and figured i would adjust the bands too. i dont have an inch pound torque wrench, so i was wondering if there is just a certain amount of turns that would equal to 72 inch lbs. i used to do that with some old chrysler fwd a-413 trannys. i would back out the adjuster and screw it in till it just barely touched the band, and then turn in a certain amount to give the right pressure against the band. so is there a method like for the dodge trucks, i have a 95 ram 1500 5.2 46rh. thanks.

Dont do it. You will end up having to re-build your transmission. I did the same thing.
