engine light is on, code reads misfire across the board, has lean backfire through the intake, replaced map sensor, o2 sensors, throttle position sensor, fuel pump/filter assy. in the tank. did plugs, wires, rotor & cap recently. started on uphill load, now all acceleration. it is getting worse

 

if anyone has had similar problems, or heard of anything like this, thanks in advance for any help.

 

i don't know if if i can help ya but i have a 97 ram sport with the 5.2 and i replaced my plugs,wires ,ect my engine light came on as did the truck run real slow and crappy i took it in to the dealership ,turns out it was my plugs ,they wernt gapped proporly . after that i had know prob. plus be sure to recheck your firing order as they can get kind of confusing

 

How about fuel pressure?

 

sounds like your tune-up s off. Make sure to use Champion spark plugs gapped at .035. Also make sure firing order is correct, 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2,.

 

Crank Position Sensor? Check for any damaged wiring back by the e-manifold.
