trick to do cap,rotor and wires???? on 5.9 ram?
Ok, am I missing somethign or is there about not enough room to change teh cap and rotor and plug wires?? there a trick I am missing?? it looks TIGHT.. I thought my Cherokee was craed in the back ,but WOW.... also, I am used to inline 6's so its easy to number teh cylinders, how do you number and count teh v8's?? Ie: whats cylinder 1,then 2, etc??
yes doign a tune up on the 5.9 is a pain in the ****, but its something you can do.... The problem mainly is taking the air box off, since it can be such a pitta to replace them and just get them to seat right!. Just take your time and you should be able to get it done in 2 hrs or so.

Well, I already did the Air filter when I was tring to do a Throttlebody spaver kit, which didnt fit.... the air filter wasnt a big deal.. I am just concerned about how ot get back TO the cap and rotor, hell, I cant even SEE the passengerside cap screw!
it took me forever to do mine, it's a total pain in the *** and you pretty much just have to get over it and take it one step at a time. by the way, it was ALL by feel only. i just used a chair to get up higher and lean against the edge of the frame and started reaching...
