Default Increase Horsepower?

I am new to the forum thing and purchased a 2004 Dodge QuadCad small V8 11 months ago. I am currently trying to increase the horsepower by adding dual exhaust and a chip, but I dont know where to start. I am currently looking at the Flow Master dual exhaust cat back system and was wondering if this is a good choice? Also, anyone know and or would recommend a good chip for my truck? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had Gibson on my 5.9, I loved the sound and was able to install myself.

less restriction = more horsepower and torque. now daul isn't really the best way to go. Any person would agree each bend you add in an exhaust system adds more restriction. Now here is one for you to look at not knowing what your state laws are, but if they permit single exhaust with a turndown dumped before the back dif. It sounds great whether you use a flow, borla, or dyna max. But this also creates some cab noise. Here is a new muffler I have on my truck and it sounds better then them all.

Read this all. This sounds great!!!!!!!!
