I think we're all pretty much in the same boat on fuel economy. I get about 13mpg most of the time. It goes to about 17 or 18 on the highway, but I don't drive HW exclusively.

I think you can flash the computer for fuel economy, but you may see a decline in power too. Not sure where to go from there. I'm curious too.

Not to be a total ***, but isn't poor mileage what you resigned yourself to when you bought a 5.9L truck? They're designed to tow, get a 1.5L Honda Civic if you want some mileage.

However, to add constructive advice to my post, do what you can to boost torque at the revs you're spending most of your time (N/A tuning, no boost). Larger exhaust, cold-air intake, free flowing filter, synthetic oils, etc. Check out http://diablosport.com/ may have a chip for your truck, you can ask them to tune it for power or for economy.

Best of luck with it ...

Yes, I did resign myself to BAD MPG, but not totally BS MPG. I mean I would be ecstatic if I got the MPG listed on the window sticker when I bought the thing!

Default What window sticker mpg

It is a diesel. They dont put the mpg on the window sticker in the us... Maybe in canada they do. I get around 13 with an 07 qc 4x4 5.9 with 4.10's i love it. 24.2 on the highway staying under 70mph
