Volant Cold Air Induction
I just got off the phone with Volant, the breather tube problem for the 04' Hemi's has been solved (Thanks to my own installation and then showing Volant, they used my design YEA I'M FAMOUS).
If anyone had purchased the Volant Cold Air Induction Kit before 2/15/04 and was curious what to do with the Breather Hose... let me know. I have pics of my install somewhere.

Thats awesome. I didn't ask on the profit thing because I was so excited that the owner liked my design, they did offer me some outstanding deals on intakes though. I told him I was going to call him Monday and discuss a few ideas. I was going to make a post to see if anyone wants to do a group buy on the intakes I know I could get a steal of a deal. I need to talk to Amanda and found out how to go about that for everyone.
Although I've noticed most folks like to go with K&N... we'll see what happens.

well i got an 04 hemi, and i want an air intake, problem being money, but let me know if you can get a deal going, maybe i can pull the seats up off the couch and scrounge for change
I went with K & N due to this price of the Volant. On a groupbuy on another site the were 250.00 for my 5.9. The HP for my application were similar. It was cost effective to have the K & N. I would love to see your set-up.
dumb dumb dumb! I'm an idiot I accidentally deleted my Intake pics. I will take more this weekend and post them Monday.

I built my 4.7 Dakota intake for a whopping $65.00. I bought the K&N filter from www.martelbros.com and I purchased all the ABS and the brass barb fitting (for the breather hose) at Home Depot. I drilled a hole in the ABS and then tapped the hole to screw my brass barb fitting in.
Here is a couple of pics of my "do it yourself intake" that will compete with any $250.00 aftermarket brand.

Even the 5.7 intake that dynoed the most horsepower (Airram gave no more than 10HP).
Be proud that you did it yourself, and saved over 200.00 bucks.
Bill,
