Default Lifting an 04 4x4 Ram Hemi

I am getting ready to lift my truck, and I wanted to see if any of you guys have done it on the new independent front suspension. Skyjacker, FabTech, and Explorer ProComp have lift kits for the new Dodge trucks. Here in So Cal, everybody uses FabTech, and I don't want to be like every other Ford Boy here. So, I was thinking Skyjacker - but their kit doesn't include shocks - where Fabtech and ProComp do. Any thoughts?

Also, what do you guys think of replacing the rear leaf springs or just blocking them? The price in kits varies by about $600 depending which way you go. I don't tow much, but I do take it offroad

What about the blocks in the rear or new leaf springs? Skyjacker has two kits, the one with the leaf springs is about 2100, the blocked one is around 1700. I'm just not sure how that affects payload, handling, etc.
