LETS HEAR IT!!!

I'm at a stop light about to get onto the freeway when a young guy about my age (23,24) rolls up in his new titan... he be starin at my standard cab Hemi truck and he gives me the "lets roll" nod so with sweaty hands I pop in the Tow/Haul, drop it down into first and bam we were off on to the freeway.... I dont' think he really know what happened cause I as got a head of him I could see his face and it was - WTF - with my hands shakey and heart pounding as we are flying going over a hundo with him right behind me the WHOLE time... I don't think he knew there was a Hemi inside.

My ego is back from that whole Civic experience.

 

He probably read "Car and Driver" and thought he had the fastest truck on the road. There's book knowledge and there's real world knowledge: welcome to the real world. Hey that would make for a good bumper sticker to be read when you blow more Titan's away.

Right ON!! Just 2 nights ago a guy pulled up next to my QC 4x4 hemi with his brand new ugly yellow H2 (and I mean brand new...still had the sticker on the window). I wasn't even gonna try to race the guy...i mean he had to be dumb to race his H2 against my Hemi. Well the light turned green and sure enough...the guy punched his 6.0 v8. Didn't do much of anything...as soon as i stepped on my 5.7 hemi I blew him in the dust. I know I shouldn't feel good about smoking a H2, but I felt good.

 

Thanks It felt really good, then I saw that pic of the big ugly titan and I felt even better.

yeah those are some good kills, why is it that poeple that think that they have something try to race? I raced a couple of times in 4.7 Q/C killed some car but couldn't really tell what it was in my rear veiw mirror. But at the track a camero had no problem with me. killed me bad.

 

The magazines are comparing QC Hemis to the Titan cuz of the four door thing. A regular cab Hemi will destroy a Titan. I have video at the track, I will try and find it and post it later.

 

Hey YAWNSHEMI!!!! when you said you kicked in the tow/haul and dropped it down to first? did you mean drop your shifter on the column down to first? Are you shifting your gears on the colmun? 1st to 2nd and so on? Is this a dumb question? I dont know .....its just news to me. is that effective?
