From the data I have been provided, all of our current vehicle applications (1998 – 2010+)will be covered in the VIVID PAQ.

The earlier models just might not have as many PID options for the Advanced Data Acquisition features but all other apps will be similar.

That thing would look pretty sweet on my Samsung Infuse! Any thing that may use standard micro USB format vs. Bluetooth?

None that I am aware of. We focused mostly on the wireless aspect of the product and how it will carry over into the Bluetooth based Android tablets and phones in the near future.

The AVID was recently renamed the VIVID LINQ to better tie it to the VIVID PAQ and its accessories. The LINQ is currently in validation testing right now and will not be ready to launch by December 2011.

We do expect to launch this product for all applications in early 2012. When I know more about the timing I’ll post it here.

Thanks for your interest!

I'm seeing the VIVID LINQ all over the internet, but no release date yet.
I'm selling my 3865 in anticipation of this.
