If I could have afforded it I would have gone cummins. I love my Hemi though... I just put 120 miles on my truck A DAY so 50 bucks in the gas tank every three days hurts.

 

Well I ended up going with the Cummins 5.9 HO with an auto and so far at 700 miles I am getting about 14 - 16 mpg And I have to say the the new HO is much quieter than my neighbors 99 Dodge with the Cummins. Anyway so far I love the truck and I am glad I got the Cummins.

Cummins is extreme power well worth the money, but if your just gonna tow around a boat you dont need the cummins a hemi will work fine, and sound nice while doing it.

 

You can add propane to the Diesel and run 12 second quarter miles
