Default Electric Fan

Is it worth replacing the clutch fan on the 4.7 with an electric fan? If so where can I get the fan?

I don't think it is worth it. The fan isn't on all the time. Granted you are losing power when it is on but I don't think it is on enough to warrant getting an electric fan. They are pretty expensive when you consider how little they are going to help. But if you do decide to get one, you can get them from summitracing or jegs.

Has anyone done this and noticed anything? More power? Quieter ride?

If you have done it what all did you remove and what did you add?

Thanks

If it ran all the time, I'd think about it. As is, I've driven quite a bit in 95*F or higher temps in and around Atlanta (read traffic) and I can only recall the fan being on once... and that was only until I got going. Switched off soon after.
