Default 2006 Rear axle?

Any truth to the 2006 2500 and 3500 series getting new rear axles?
This to stop the vibes and harmonics especially associated with the cummins.

no vibes with my cummins. . .except at idle. . .has some good vibrations then[8D]

it's not the AAM axels that are the problem, it's the ballanceing of the drive shafts where the problems exists. but currently it's still a 50-50 on what you will get, some people say the AAM axels are just as good or better than the Dana's. I realy think the ball joints that come stock are junk though

I have an 04.5 with the vibe have had new aluminum shafts put in also the rear hubs replaced and rear gears premature failer on hubs.undecided if i should get an 05
hopefully wqant have the same problem still can feel and hear harmonics from the rears of the test drivers i went on or just wait and see what -06 wil bring
but DC hasnt said anything about the 06 2500 and 3500 series as of yet if any changes are even happening. like to know when dc will release the info on the heavy duties.
4 dealer ships have told me new and quiter rear ends for 06 to solve the loud rear end inssue but have not seen anything online about if this is true or not..

I know there is a harmonic vibration at 2100 rpm with the engine, and it has something to do with the engine resonating at the same frequency as the front part of the bed, and that acts as an amplifier making it worse. it might sound like a long shot, but I did notice after I had my Line-x sprayed in my truck didnt have such a racket at 2100 rpm
