Hello all,
I have a '93 Ram with a TIRED 3.9 (over 300K miles). Sitting next to it I have a totalled 2001 Ram 150 with the 5.9.
I'd like to put the complete drivetrain (engine, trans and rear end) into the '93.
Any suggestions, comments? Anyone already done this?
Or, should i sell both and get a new one?
The '93 is a 5 spd and the '01 is an auto which i now need having lost the use of my legs.
Any advice is appreciated

the first thing would be if the wireing harness for the engine and trans is still ok.
second I would wonder about the engine mounts. I'm pretty sure they are in the same place but it is something I would wonder about.
lastly would be the actual drive shaft if it would be long enough or what.
I know it would be a good project, and probably one of the sweetest 1st gens out there when it comes to the workings under the hood
