Has anybody put on the infamous "cherry bomb" straight muffler? A friend did it on his 98 5.9L (36" 2.5"). Just cut out the muffler and welded it in there, but he is now overseas. I did it long time ago on a 91 S-10 4.3L and it woke it up quite abit. Being a harley rider the noise don't bother me. Don't want it way stupid loud ( i do have a lil bit on consideration for my neighbors). And yes you might be a redneck if you ..........

 

I have the cherry bombs on my 86 F150 302 it sounds good i think when you really get on it they crack real good but when you are just cruising along they have an awesome rumble. If i were to get another gas engine they definetly would be goin on that one

 

While I was installing my Gibson. I had the stock exhaust removed and grabbed a glass pack I had off an old Monte Carlo and clamped it into place. It was thunderously loud. My parents came out and wondered what the he!! was going on. Shaking the neighbors windows. Oh there was no tailpipe when I did this.

 

I have an 02' Ram 5.9 4x4 with a $500 Custom Exhaust System. I went with a new type of cherry bomb called a turbo pipe. It is the loudest f*-%in sound I ever heard out of a stock truck. Two years later my neighbors still call the cops at 2am when I cruise in from a late night! I wish I had a way to put the video on so I could let you all hear!

Back in August of 01' My dealer started to take orders for the next gen ram so I signed up! 2002 Ram 1500 5.9 4x4 Quad Cab SLT+ Sport with 20" and the works! I recieved a call on the worst day of all 9/11 that it was in. But I had one Problem I was stuck in Cancun Mexico because of all the stuff going on here. So I got back and to the dealer I went. My Window Sticker states my name and 11th produced truck right behind it! I was kinda amazed myself but they said the first 50 Ordered Trucks were made first and I was #11. But even to more surprise the first to get the SLT+ and Sport Package Combined w/20"s. Which wern't regularly man. until November of 01" Thats My story!
