Looking at my copy of the VIP Vehicle Options.
There are many codes that I can only guess at they are in bold:
Engine Magnum 5.9L SMPI V8
5.9l Engine (EML)
4SP auto trans (DGT)
AXLE Front, 205MM HD
AXLE Rear, Corporate 9.25 LD
Transmission - 4-SPD Automatic, 46RE
AXLE Ratio - 3.92
I am just curious what they mean.

According to Fuel System (OEM Terminology), SMPI = Sequential Multiport Fuel Injection

I found examples of (EML) and (DGT) here.
EML = Magnum 5.9L 8 Cylinder 245 hp Gas Engine
DGT = 4 Speed Automatic OD Transmission
(EML) and (DGT) are proprietary Manufacturer Codes. I guess the factory uses these acronyms as a way to document a given vehicle’s specific configuration.
