Default REAR END RECOMMENDATIONS

Hello all:

I have a '99 Ram 1500 with a howling 9.25 LSD rear end. I understand this is a somewhat common bearing problem. I plan on taking it in for repairs at some point in the next week or so. I'm looking for...

1) Recommendations on beefing up this diff, even if it means replacing everything. Also, any info on swaps, complete aftermarket units, etc.

2) Who has the best quality parts in the aftermarket for the job at hand?

3) If any of you are in the San Francisco bay area, a recommendation on a reliable truck shop to do the repairs.

4) Any additional info you think might be helpful.

Thanks in advance... kewl site you've got going here!

Default RE: REAR END RECOMMENDATIONS

First I would try putting 2 bottles of the limited slip addative in it. The problem could be the clutches in it, at least that was the problem in mine.
