Does anyone know where I can get some good heavy duty tow straps?

You might try your local farm store.

Or you could look on some 4x4 sites and forums and ask there.
pavementsucks.com might be a place to look.

Those are ropes that are stronger than straps and easier to store.
Just stay away from the straps with hooks please.
