I was told my 3.55's will have trouble turning the 315's I covet. Is this true. Don't want to hurt my baby.

Sorry. I want to put 315 70 17 which has a diameter of 34.8 inches. I currently have 265 70 17 which is about 31.6 inches in diameter. I had the torsion bars adjusted to accomidate the height but now I am concerned the 3.55 gears will have trouble spinning them. Do I need 3.92 or 4.10.

Your not looking at to much of a difference in height so you may loose a little on the bottom end. The truck will handle them very well. One of those rearends would help, but really not nessasary. I am still looking for the calculator program for suggested gearing for tire size. I will post it as soon as I find it.

Thanks. I do mostly city driving and very rarely get on the throttle. Gas is expensive these days[:@]

one formula i have is (new tire size/old tire size)*ratio

(35/31)*3.55
