Default 4.10 VS 4.56 gears

Hi,

I am thinking to get some gears, either 4.10 or 4.56, for my '03 Ram Hemi auto 3.55's

anybody has them ?

what do you think ?

the RPM would increase 300 RPM when going from 3.55 to 4.10 and the increase with 4.56 would be 570 RPM,

I am also considering some type of LSD.

my car has 3.55 and open diff, and they make me sick, soon I will get rid of them.

Any input and feedback is appreciated,

Thanks,

I have 3.55's also. Why do you hate them. I am thinking about 3.92's. Are you lifting your truck or getting bigger tires??

no lifting, no big tires,

the car is so slow with these gears, and it has 5speed, I think I can put 4.10 or 4.56, and it wouldn't hurt anything.

with 4.56 gears, @ 75 mph the RPM would be 2,500 RPM, and the rev limiter is 5,800 RPM,
I think it would be fine.

I think the car has a lot of power but the current gears not helping,

I want to go with 4.56, but I need some opinions.

I love upgrading the gears and diff, they are my first mods in all of my cars, when I got my Lincoln Town Car, the first things were 3.55 and LSD, (stock:3.08),
and my Maxima came with 3.83's, Its already good gears, but I made the tires shorter and the final drive ratio would be 3.9, still waiting to get an LSD.
