I want to get a 7in. lift kit but skyjacker is the only companie that makes a 7in. lift. It says its for a 2001 dodge ram 1500 long arm but I have no clue if i have a long arm or what it is?

 

It's a Long Arm Kit, not for a 1500 with a Long Arm. Long Arm refers to the length of the Control Arms, if you look at your fron axle those 4 metal bars that come off the back of the axle are your Control Arms. You need to extend the Control Arms as you lift the vehicle or else the axle isn't going to be in the same place in relation to the stock position.
