Alright, out of curiosity how many gallons are in the tank when the light comes on for "low fuel"? Fiquring that the Ram has ~26gallon tank. (correct me if I am wrong). Its around 4-5 gallons. My computer is already 0 miles till empty, wonder how long I'l last. Then again dont really want to find out

Exactly 3 US Gallons. LOL! I read that in my manual... I hate to be the reason you run out of fuel... Hehehe!

I can honestly say that I have taken my truck to the limit! I have gone as far as an additional 43 miles past 0 mte and let the needle rest and on fill up only put in 24.78 gallons meaning somewhere in the tank and lines was probaly a gallon or so.

 

You can get an additional 35 miles or so after you see that light.

 

The DTE (distance to empty) display figures in a 10% reserve or 2.6 gallons.

 

I recently tried to see how far i could drive with my lite off prior to a fuel pump replacement. I drove 28 Mi. after the light came on and I still drained about 4 gallons out of the tank after i pulled it off my truck. Food for thought
