I have been having problems with my cruise control not working on my 99 Ram. I would like to know if the clockspring would be the problem since I have checked everything else.

 

Everything else? What does that include?


I remember 2 or 3 instances on those where there was an open in the harness going to the PCM. I just did an overlay (jumper) wire to fix it so as to save the customer a bunch of labor to cannibalize the old wiring and find it.


TBH, I don't remember having to ever replace a clock spring in one of those trucks for any reason.
