Default 1998 4x4 Front Shocks

Just wantd to get a read on preferred shocks - 1998 Ram 4x4 1500. What shocks do you prefer? Mostly highway/towing, no off road. Also, what is the best way to replace them - visually it looks like the shock towers have to be removed to allow tha shock to be removed from inside the spring, correct?

I like the Rancho RS9000 even for road use, it's always nice to know they are there for offroad if you need them.

Thanks for the info - I'll chjeck them out. On the install, did you have to remove the 3-bolt shock towers to get them in???
