I've almost always owned a truck. My first truck was an '89 F-150 and literally drove it until the wheels fell off. My next truck was a '98 Silverado 3-Door. Drove that one until the wheels almost fell off. Now I'm in an '07 QC with the Hemi.

Love the commanding view of the road. Love being able to haul stuff (fishing/camping gear, top soil, lumber, 3 dead bodies wrapped in a carpet, etc). And I love the fact my wife refuses to drive a truck. She's got her minivan (Chrysler, of course), and that perfectly fine with me.

I live in North Idaho, so having a truck helps get around in the winter, and a truck is a necessity for hunting and fishing in the mountains. It also makes me feel good to be bigger than all the cars on the road.

 

I have had a car, and a van even but when I am not in a truck it just doesn't feel quite right. All of my trucks have been Dakotas and the only other truck I will drive is a Ram. I personally don't use mine to haul very much or anything like that but it is nice to have one when you need to do that type of thing.

 

i got mine becouse me and my wife go on alot of road trips.
i cant stand having alot of bags and hard cases on my bike so we just load up the truck.
i curlenty have 3 bikes.
2 of which i'm tying to sell.
i have an 03 Suzuki b12 that i'm going to keep.
then i have an 87 kz400 and an 89 550ltd that i dont want.....(hit) ....(hit)
