CO - skiing and rich people from NY, CA,etc...</P>
great to visit - bad to live there</P>
half the time - that is 6 months of your life each and every year!! life is too short to be unhappy 1/2 of the time - how old are you though - maybe you just need more time</P>
as for traveled - i also lived a year in england, and have been to 38 countries, but i am 35 - you can still catch up</P>
So my impression of CO was right, just don't move there... Got it...

I'm not unhappy during the bad weather, I just won't run outside in shorts and a tank top when it's snowing... LOL! Gotta be ready for Michigan weather... then it's not so bad... LMAO!!!
I'm 22, going to be 23 in December... plenty of time to travel, but no means to do... So, you'll have to tell me about your adventures sometime!! 38 Countries!? WOW!! Vacations? Or areyou in the service?
~Amanda</P>
no service - took a year from university and worked a job as assistant to member of the english gov't - so business travel and pleasure - loved venice, italy - went 9 times that year</P>
i was on a plan every other day it seemed - longest flight was 14 hr 25 min non-stop london to tokyo - another was 13 hr 40 min - london to johannesburg (and in the same time zone - killer)</P>
as for $ - you can buy "let's go" books at B&N that tell how to backpack for $25/day or something</P>
last year i spent a month in canada, went from winninpeg, manitoba to victoria, british columbia(from CO and back) I thinkn i had $1,200 in it (and i drove) - i also picked a friend from Germany for 2 weeks and we split some of the gas</P>
the biggest cost to me was the $ i lost from not working</P>
WOW!! You have a very colorful life... I want to go to Greece sometime... that's my ultimate vacation place. I don't think it'll happen, but I love mythology and such... soI'm drawn there.

YIKES! I'm not a great flyer, awell I am, i hate the taking off and landing... I can handle turbulance... LOL!
~Amanda</P>
Yea, I've heard nothing but good things from anyone who goes there... very friendly, rich atmosphere... heavy in tradition and history.

Hey... I can fly... it's just not pretty... LMAO!!
Tell me themost unheard/unpopulated of place you've been to...? (My curiousity is peaked... Hope you don't mind...)
~Amanda</P>
vezeley, france</P>
a little town built on a hilltop, overlooking farmland - population 150 at most - but very significant in historical terms - the 1st and 3rd crusades to liberate isreal were organized and started from this place, and was blessed and presided over by st. benedictine - on one of the crusades they returned with the bones of mary magdeline and they still kept there in a tomb that was built in 400 AD</P>
another could be lost springs, wyoming - population 4 - you can imagine what that looks like</P>
sorry buddist priest - missed it</P>
a) what is TSP - sorry</P>
b)the MP i worked with was the chairman of the foreign relations committe for the council of europe that dealt with the eastern blocked nations (at that time) - i served 89-90 - which as you recall was a very turbulant time in history - the wall fell in Nov, 89 - i was in greece at the time, but high-tailed to berlin that day</P>
i wrote papers, research, and attended meetings for the council of europe when he was in russia dealing with separation of the baltic states form the former ussr</P><edited><editID>hollywood</editID><editDate>37920.6695138889</editDate></edited>
