Default Damn flows

I went with the special muffler for the 04 hemi. I did the dual exhaust straight out the back...I know I lost some power from it even though the pipes are 2.5". I was wondering what I can do to gain some of that back. Can I keep the muffler and just cut off all the pipes after that? How about cutting off the muffler entirely? Just have the Cat and that's it. Recommendations?

Should change pipe to a smaller diameter. You've lost some of the scavenging effect from the pipe.

Flowmaster makes a resonator that might help I seen it on their web site it just looks like a small muffler.

Been there done that! I too had installed duals w/2.5 in and 2.5 out off the factory cats and lost ALL of the bottom end! I had them re-install the single exhaust w/(1) 50 flowmaster and a 3"tail . I regained ALL of my bottom end back (thank goodness) I did not have my CAI at the time. do you have a CAI? was wondering if that would make a difference? Has anyone dualed their HEMI with a CAI and noticed a bottom end loss? I have been researching this for some time and STILL have nothing to convince me to do it again! but I would for the name of HORSEPOWER! There are several factors involved with this situation.

Exhaust Manifold-stock
Intake-CAI
Exhaust- single flowmaster(resonator removed)
Cats-factory
