Low mileage advice
Hi Folks!
I will only be putting around 5,000 miles (or less) per year on my truck (see signature). Are there things I should do to keep my truck running well and keep things from getting gunked up?
Any advice will be received with grattitude.

Kinda along the same lines, I drive my truck all the time, and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice for getting better gas mileage. Aside from keeping it at low RPMs, this is my first truck, so I don't know any tricks.
Trace: not sure on how the deisels work...my guess is just take it for a 20 minute cruse every week or so...should be all you need to do.
Jon: only way to realy up the milage is to get a few performance parts!!
Cold air intake..performance exhaust and headers will free up flow making the motor more efficient.
getting larger plug wires, colder plugs (autolite and NGK) an Accel or MSD ignition coil and either a MSD 6a or the Accel ignition kit will help you burn more fuel each cycle...again making the motor more efficiant.
