I recently had my 98 dodge ram in the shop. It was sputtering when I hit between 40-50 mph and the check engine light came on. It turns out that cylinder 7 was misfiring due to a clogged injector. I had the injector replaced but the mechanic told me he looked at the other injectors and they didn't look good. He said that there was rust clogging the injector filters coming from the fuel rail. I haven't had much luck finding any aftermarket aluminum fuel rails or injectors. Anybody got any ideas?
