Default Speaker Install..

So, in the mood to spend money again, and I picked up some new speakers for my '04 Quad Cab... Was wondering if any of you guys have advice on installing, getting the door panels off, etc. Going to do this tomorrow night sometime. Any help would be great!

JC, Very easy install. 4 screws. One behind the handle, one near side view mirror and two low(bottom of door). All phillips head. Once screws are out, pull up (towards the sky). The door will become loose and you need to move the handle through. Disconnect PW and PL and viola. Speakers in front are 6x9 and come out with four screws. I took the factory connector off the stock 6x9 and soldered it to my Aftermarkets.

You will need a Torx T30 to get the door handles off.

Klute, I did not remove the handle. The cover just slid right over. I had to pull up on the handle though.

I thought about that.

The instructions from Crutchfield said to remove the handle. I usually follow instructions as I am not a creative person....
