My Ram has a problem with the torque converter not always locking up at highway speeds. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. This is all at normal operating temp., and under no load. Is there a solenoid or something that could be bad?

There are many things that could be wrong, I suggest a trip to the dealer.

 

My folks gad the same problem with a 99 Cumins 24V, they had to take it in and have the computer reprogrammed.
