Does anyone know if the SLT 1500 Quad has a tinted rear window as standard equipment? I saw "tinted read windows" listed on Dodge's web site, but my dealer says that's just the rear passenger windows. I'm a little curious, As I rarely see a RAM without a tinted rear window, and I'd trust my mother in law before i'd trust my dealer. I emailed Dodge, and they replied: "Unfortunately, we do not have this information". Sorry if this has been asked before.

My 2004 QC 1500 SLT Lone Star Edition came with a tinted rear (sliding) window.

 

Well, i'm sure it varies all over the place. My HEMI SLT Quad came with a non-tinted back window. Also came with what appears to be a mistake made while one of the rear doors was being painted, a loose door panel and warped bed liner, but i'm pretty sure those dont come standard. I had a 2002 Reg Cab ram as well, and it came tinted, and that was an ST model. My 2001 Dakota SLT came with tinted rear window too, so I guess the fact that this is the first Dodge truck i've had without one really makes it seem odd. Thanks for the reply.

 

My 04 came with the factory tinted back windows. It is an option that is on their website and can be ordered like that from the factory. The tinting is 20% and the glass itself it tinted, there is no film that I can see.

 

On the '04 SLT Rams, the rear window is NOT tinted unless your order the factory Sliding Rear Window OR Rear Window Defogger.

 

Hey, you guys,In my '99 Q/C the truck came with everything BUT a tinted rear window and it's not a siding one. So I guess it's just a roulette game unless it's ordered that way.

 

Unless the sticker says "tinted rear window", they are talking about that very faint bluish green tint on all windows that helps against UV sunlight. Its just like if you go to a new car sticker where is dont even look like its tinted and says tinted.
